  • ADELINE TIEN

    { Yoga Teacher }

    Drawn to athletic and flow styles of yoga, Adeline Tien first encountered the practice 13 years ago, deciding to become a teacher in 2002. She completed her 200-hour teacher training with Australia’s Yoga Arts and is now a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance. At COMO Shambhala Singapore, Adeline teaches Hatha and Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga.

    A yoga teacher, yoga therapist and meditation teacher of 16 years, Aleks upholds traditional values and contemporary insights of yoga to help her students reach their full potential. Certified by the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy, she specialises in yoga for mental health, addiction, back pain, cancer and chronic illnesses.

  • AZMI SAMDJAGA

    Azmi is a multi-hyphenated practitioner since 2005 with experiences and accreditation in ashtanga yoga, various forms of massages, meditation, and sound therapy. His sessions cultivate total body awareness while elevating a sense of stillness from daily challenges. He believes that integral healing is key to leading a healthy and successful life.

    Jay has been teaching at COMO Shambhala since 2008 with sessions focusing on the energy of the body, mind, and breathwork. His teaching style is clear and engaging peppered with a sense of humour. Having practised Iyengar yoga since 1987 and certified in 2001, Jay is a veteran in his field.

    Having won multiple yoga championships in India and trained everyone from executives to naval officers, Kenny moved to Singapore in 2006. Practising yoga since the mid-90s, he shares years of teaching and learning from the likes of Shri Dharma Mitra, Andrey Lappa, Andrei Ram Om, Vikas Malkani and many more.

  • LAY PENG CHAM

    Lay Peng specialises in teaching yoga to children — including those with special needs, adults, expectant mothers, and families. Certified in Australia for Pregnancy, Birth, and Beyond Yoga in 2010 and YogaKids in 2004, she is also trained in yin yoga and yoga dance from renowned teachers.

  • LYNN YEO

    Balancing work as an eye surgeon, Lynn is an Anusara-Inspired yoga teacher who has been practising yoga since 2001. She believes yoga should be engaging, energising and safe, and therefore teaches with precise attention to the Universal Principles of Alignment of Anusara yoga and its life-affirming, heart-opening philosophy.

  • SARAH MANNING

    Sarah has been teaching in Singapore and Shanghai since 1996 with a style that is informative and empowering. With a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and yoga for healing, she nurtures all she teaches. She is also a senior faculty member at the International Yoga Teachers Association and develops training for teachers.

    Sherwin is a believer in a peaceful and healthy society and focuses on relaxation, breathwork, mindful movement, and postural alignment in his sessions. He embarked on a path of yoga away from corporate life and was certified by the late Master Scott Orton from Sivaram Academy of Yoga in 2006.

  • SUBRAMANIAM DHARMALINGAM

    In the early-80s, Maniam began his journey with Bihar School of Yoga in Singapore and has taught since the 90s. Trained under the likes of Donna Farhi and AG Mohan, who was a disciple of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, the "father of modern yoga", the veteran teacher continues to expand his knowledge across various modalities.

    A trained lawyer, Su Mei is an Anusara-Inspired yoga teacher who has been practising yoga since 2003. She left corporate law and co-founded Space & Light Yoga with her partner, Lynn Yeo. She believes that yoga is a celebratory practice and strives to inculcate that feeling in all her classes.

    Kristin Khor is a yoga instructor and mindset coach who loves helping people find balance in their lives. She's passionate about creating transformational experiences that will leave you feeling refreshed and motivated. Kristin's classes are designed to help you connect with your body, mind, and spirit. She uses a variety of techniques to help you relax, release tension, and find your breath. Kristin also offers private coaching sessions to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

    Mitzi harmonised with yoga at age 18 ; breathes yoga as a lifelong manifestation journey. With continuous practice & encounters with various gurus over the years, she hopes to sustain her knowledge of Yoga and its philosophies - to inspirit and enhearten practitioners to rise above their physical being, through mindful consciousness, cosmic love & compassion.

  • SAGAR INGALE

    Sagar was born in the Royal family of Maratha. Inheriting a tradition full of fitness, sports and adventure. Sagar’s family shared a love for many sports like wrestling, swimming, fencing, sword fighting, volleyball, horse riding, athletics and gymnastics. His father, a dedicated practicing yogi, introduced him to yoga when he was 9 years old, and sent him to be coached by international yoga champion and international yoga coach Chandrakant Pangare. His training drew heavily from yoga legends such as BKS Iyengar, Dr Sharadchandra Bhalekar (Kaivlyadham, Lonavala), and Dr Vishwas Mandlik (Yoga Vidya Gurukul, Nashik)

    A dedicated fitness professional with five years of experience in personal training, weight loss management, functional fitness and injury prevention. Kai Ming is certified by the American Council of Exercise (ACE), Female Health & Performance Coaching Academy by Nadia Norman, as well as a World Coaches Academy (WCA) trained pre- and post-natal fitness specialist. Driven by a passion for guiding individuals towards their health and wellness goals. Kai Ming’s approach is rooted in practical experience and a commitment to achieving tangible results.

  • JEREMY NOEL DE SOUZA

    An expert with eight years of experience in the fitness industry, Jeremy Noel De Souza is a Master Trainer certified by the Functional Training Institute (FTI) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also an avid yoga practitioner with a 200-hour yoga certification from Yogaseeds. Combining his knowledge of yoga with professional personal training skills, Jeremy strives to support those seeking longevity in their wellness journey - be it in body recompositing, strength building or performance enhancement.

    Aja’s sessions are accessible, high-energy, and blend alignment, strength, and stability. Certified as a Pilates instructor in Hong Kong and Singapore and as a Reiki practitioner in the US, she enjoys combining Pilates and yin yoga to elevate mobility, foster movement with intention, and improve the mind-body connection.

    Doreen’s interest in the practice came after a skiing accident. She recovered through Gryotonic exercise and, since 2004, continues to impart the practice focusing on opening energy pathways and increasing spine flexibility. The certified Myofascial therapist has worked with various members of the community including those recovering from a stroke.

    Fhe’s sessions are interactive and engaging for students of all levels. Incorporating her wealth of experience since the late-90s, the Philippine National Powerlifting and Aerobics Marathon Champion is a Master Trainer for Core Systems of Smart Movement. She is also certified in Stott Pilates for post-rehabilitation, and post and prenatal. Other certifications from the US and Norway include Silk Suspension, Active Isolated Stretching, Redcord Neurac 1, Yoga Alliance (RYT 2007), Exercise Science Alliance and Les Mills.

    Ole is the Pilates Trainer of the Year (2nd runner up) in Fitness Best Asia 2021. He gained acclaim for introducing Step Aerobics and Latin Aerobics to Hong Kong and Dubai. He is a Level 1 & 2 GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESES® certified trainer. As the Philippines’ first certified Stott Pilates instructor in 2006 and the founder of the Core Systems of Smart Movement, he has trained hundreds driven by a profound passion for bodywork

    Pek Yew’s approach to every breathwork and asana is to come from a space of mindfulness. Accredited by the International Yoga Alliance, she has spent hundreds of hours of training and teaching since 2011. Drawn to the fluidity of ashtanga and the serenity of yin yoga, she teaches with dedicated sincerity.

    Tok Li is a regional CFO in an MNC and Pilates teacher certified in Yoga, and Smart Movement Original Mat, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel. Since 2013, she has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Noah Maze and Christine Sell, and further training with COMO Shambhala Pilates master trainers Fhe Samia and Ole Eugenio. Tok Li combines Pilates with her Yoga and Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) experience to share knowledge with her students, deepening their training to relieve tension from daily work and life’s pressures.

    A hospitality professional, Zhiling’s Pilates journey began in 2017 when a doctor started her on a programme to alleviate back pain stemming from a joint dysfunction. Today, she lives a healthy lifestyle with a pain-free body, and hopes to bring the mastery and benefits of Pilates to help others. Trained by COMO Shambhala Pilates master trainer Ole Eugenio, Zhiling is certified in Smart Movement Original Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel (basic and intermediate), and Injuries and Special Population Pilates.

    Linn’s Pilates journey began in Hong Kong to rehabilitate postpartum core weakness which was exacerbated by a history of thigh bone fracture and scoliosis. Having found strength and length through Pilates and weights training, she will guide you to better health and fitness through Pilates. She is a STOTT certified and Smart Movement Pilates Instructor (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel), Pre & Post Natal Specialist and Neurosensory Specialist. With working experience in a rehab physiotherapy setting, she has received training in STOTT Injuries & Special Populations and Scolio-Pilates.

  • SAMANTHA CHIA

    A distinguished graduate of the University of Sydney with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy and a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of NSW, Samantha Chia has over a decade of expertise in health science, specialising in clinical Pilates, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, athletic injuries, and pre- and post-natal recovery. Her approach not only facilitates the return to play for patients recovering from major injuries, such as ACL repairs and ankle dislocations, but also elevates overall function and performance for the everyday athlete.

    Releasing himself from a stressful role in the tech world, Cheen went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Centre for Mindfulness as a qualified teacher. Since 2014, his sessions have helped the lives of many in the community as he continues to expand his practice.

    Tiffany is an Australian-trained Naturopath and Nutritionist who has practised with world-renowned holistic resorts and clinics since 2005. A firm believer of the mind-body connection, she is the first in Asia to train and offer the UCSD Mindful Eating programme from San Diego, California. A mother of two, she specialises in children’s health, women’s wellness, stress management, digestive issues and chronic diseases. Tiffany is recognised for her warmth and efficiency in guiding the community to achieve their health and wellness goals.
